Hi, I’m Aashu!
I grew up dreaming big — I knew I wanted to run a business, even before I fully knew what that meant. What I did know was this: I loved creating, solving problems, serving customers, and seeing the joy it brought. That spark stayed with me, guiding every step of my journey.
At 16, Twirl in Style began as a simple fashion blog, where I shared styling tips and highlighted emerging Indian designers. Over time, I discovered the heart and soul these designers pour into their work.
Life brought me to Canada. When my sister got married, I realized just how hard it was to access authentic Indian fashion here. The choices were overpriced, mass-produced, or outdated. After late-night calls to India, failed fittings, and endless frustration, I knew this wasn’t just my problem — it was a gap that needed to be solved.
That’s when Twirl in Style transformed into more than a blog. It became a platform — bringing emerging Indian designers to the spotlight and making their artistry accessible abroad, so every South Asian can celebrate heritage with pride and style.
After seven years, countless lessons, and endless passion, I’m proud to share this journey with you.
